New Moon in Libra: The Final Exam

This New Moon marks the beginning of the end of the triple Jupiter/Saturn/Pluto conjunction. They have taken us for a wild ride the past couple of years. But before they go, they will be putting us through our paces. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, we're ready to review what we have learned.

It was about two years ago when Saturn and Pluto first met up and each year since then has presented more and more intense challenges. When Jupiter joined last year, things really kicked up several notches. Pluto's job in Capricorn (since 2008) has been to stress test the institutions and systems we have created. In the process, weaknesses have been revealed and now it seems they are at their breaking points. Over the next couple of months, we will see what will be left for us to work with. Will we need to rebuild from the ground up or repurpose and repair?

To make the most of this process, we need to give into it. Fighting it only makes it more painful and

destructive. Nothing lasts forever and if it's old and outworn, why keep it? It's scary to let go of what is known and is comfortable. However, we have reached the point where we have to. We cannot go back to the way it was. We know that the society we have built doesn't work for the vast majority of us. Now is our opportunity to create a society that does.

Let's move forward in spite of our fears. The compromises we have made to go along and get along are no longer enough. Let's embrace our future and let go of the past.
