The Great Conjunction: A New Beginning
We have been living under the energy of this
conjunction for months now, at least since April. It's just been Pluto's
involvement that has intensified the energy. And the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction
brought us the pandemic. Using these orbs, they're still both conjunct but it's
definitely over. And what have we seen these past two weeks? Vaccines rapidly
approved and people getting vaccinated. The pandemic itself is over.
But the fallout is just beginning. And there's still much to do before the pandemic really ends. So many more people will die. With Sun and Mercury conjunct and trine Mars and Uranus, we can formulate plans and act on them. We can use our technology to get us out of this.
Someone just posted online that Jupiter in Aquarius means "faith in technology". I agree, along with the addition that Saturn makes sure that faith is rooted in reality and actually delivers.
Locally, I just learned that one of the cultural giants in Nashville, Kwame Lillard, has died of COVID. His death represents a changing of the guard. The Triple Conjunction is still square Mars. As it ends, the energy of the conjunction has changed because Saturn and Jupiter have moved into Aquarius. The square to Mars represents all of the obstacles we still have to face. In facing them, we are turning a new corner. The old is dying and making way for the new. Pluto is killing the past. Mars is pushing us forward relentlessly. And Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius are giving us a new vision for our future.
For a couple of nights last week, me and Shiba had trouble sleeping. She was getting up in the middle of the night and was so restless but even without her waking me up, I was also feeling an electric buzz which kept me from really sleeping well. It felt like I was feeling the Uranus square to the Triple Conjunction. Jupiter will move on, leaving Saturn and Uranus, the co-rulers of Aquarius to duke it out. Both these guys move slowly so they’ll have plenty of time to work out their differences (until November 2022).

Uranus in Taurus is in its way as destructive as Pluto has been in Capricorn. (Remember the Uranus/Pluto square of 2012 to 2015?) It will not allow us to feel comfortable. All the places we used to go for comfort don’t work anymore. Saturn is leadership and responsibility. Saturn in Aquarius is responsible, visionary leadership which is willing to upend tradition. The what’s left of the old ways are getting a makeover. Saturn and Pluto during their time together tested our traditions and determined which ones no longer work. Saturn and Uranus are getting ready to throw these old useless things out.
There are so many fights ahead of us. But we have the vision and the ability to carry through.
