Full Moon in Leo Total Eclipse: Crazy Like a Fox

If your past few days have been like my past few days, you may have had one or more important relationships completely blow up. Like totally and unexpectedly. Like "Where the fuck did that come from?" kinds of blow ups. However, if you're like me, you have also felt an underlying calm and a sense of peace. While everything around you burns, you just watch the pretty flames.

Full Moons in Leo usually are not sedate affairs. There's always some drama attached. It's the nature of Leo. During this Full Moon, we may be feeling attacked as if we are being judged and found wanting. The eclipse turns it up full volume. We are looking right in the face of the roaring lion. And it's scary.

In the midst of all of this intensity, there is a place of quiet and peace. In that place we know everything is going to be okay. It's a place where we can sit back and observe our actions even during intense emotional status and while acting in extreme ways. From there, we understand our crazy looking actions are rooted in a deeper sense of knowing exactly what needs to be done for self-preservation.  We're getting ourselves back on track. If we have been staying true to who we are, this time will just be a minor hiccup. But if we have totally lost our way, this is a major course correction.

The most intense parts of an eclipse are usually during the week before and after. However, I find that often the actions that are set in motion during that time can take up to six months, until the New Moon in that sign, to completely play out.

Be comfortable being and doing you at this time. Nope. You can't explain why you're doing what you're doing. Yeah. It's crazy. Nah. You don't give any fucks, not a one, about what anybody thinks or how they feel about you. Yep. They're just going to have to suck it up and deal with it.

Our Higher Selves are in control here. And I, personally, am just going to sit back and enjoy the warmth of the fire.
