New Moon in Capricorn: Buckle Up

Y'all ready for this? The shit bout to go down. And go down hard. The energy of destruction has been activated and ain't no turning back now. Buckle up. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.

During this New Moon, the Mars/Uranus conjunction in Taurus is fully active and when these two get together, shit goes down. Mars in Taurus is like the bull in the china shop who sees red and reacts. Uranus in Taurus delights in making us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. When Mars wandered into Taurus, Uranus was already there. Uranus has been beefing with Saturn and Jupiter and now Mars is his secret weapon, just waiting to explode.

The only possible saving grace is that Venus is communicating with Mars and Uranus in a harmonious and easy manner. But what is she saying? Venus in Capricorn can be either a "no romance without finance", "nigga need to run me my coins", "bitch betta have my money", cold, calculating shrew who puts a monetary value on everything or she can be the gentle but relentless enforcer of boundaries, rules and traditions. Tough, but fair, love in action, the rock and foundation of any family, relationship or system.

The New Moon itself is square the Mars/Uranus conjunction. We have a choice. We can double down on our delusions and continue to commodify our values, using violence as the primary vehicle for getting out way, not caring who we hurt as long as we can achieve our short-sighted and limited goals. We can continue to hypocritically speak of "freedom" and "equality" while we continue to use and abuse those we deem useful and ruthlessly crush those who have outlived their purpose. But, fair warning, since Saturn is involved, the consequences for continuing down that road will be swift, unpleasant, and self-destructive.

OR we could decide to take the destructive energy of the Mars/Uranus conjunction and harness its inherent creative potential to finally break the stranglehold of old, repressive ways of being. We would be destroying traditions which should have been destroyed long ago. Which never should have existed in the first place.

Our future hangs in the balance. As usual, we decide how we want to use this energy. If it all seems overwhelming, remember the words of Nelson Mandela: "It always seems impossible until it's done."
